Ryuchin Shrine

<Muro District, Uda City> Ryuchin Shrine, quietly nestled in the Fukaya Ryuchin Valley, is said to be one of the largest power spots in Uda City.

Takaokami-no-Kami, the dragon god who governs water and brings rain, is enshrined here. Since ancient times, people have worshipped the dragon god and prayed for rain and for the rain to stop. It is said that Kukai, who is said to have called upon the dragon god to make it rain, also trained here in Uda as a young man.

2024 is the year of the dragon. It is said that the rising dragon will bring great changes in your life and the greatest good fortune. Let's meet the strongest dragon god and receive good fortune.

"Ryuchin Falls"

Park your car in the parking lot of the Murou Dam Management Office and walk along the dam for about 15 minutes. Cross the vermilion-painted railing with the words "Ryuchin Bridge" written on it, and walk another 5 minutes along the footpath along the valley, and you'll see the stone steps leading down to the river and the torii gate of Ryuchin Shrine!

"The Torii gate of Ryuchin Shrine"

As soon as you pass through the torii gate, you will see the basin of Ryuchin Falls and the main shrine to your right. The basin is a beautiful emerald green and surrounded by a sacred atmosphere, making it seem as if a dragon is really residing there.
